Sore throat? Try this miracle cure

June 14, 2015

Two days ago I started feeling this scratching sensation in my throat creeping up. This was the first time in two years that I felt that a flu was trying to show up. I am sure that it was the girl I was sitting next to for a few hours in a seminar. She was coughing and blowing her nose during the whole session. Although my body’s defense system has been really good in the past years it seems like it did not manage to fight off the invader this time.

Back in the days I would just make myself a Lemsip or pop in a couple of paracetamol tablets for the next four to five days and hope it will go away fast.

This time I decided to go the all natural route and I must say that it worked much faster and better then any flu medication that I had taken in the past.

So what did I do? I made myself a curcuma paste three times a day and my sore throat was gone in 1 day and my blocked nose as well! It is a real miracle drug!

And here is how you prepare it and take it:

  • 1-2 teaspoons of curcuma
  • 1 large teaspoon of honey – if you can afford it take some manukka honey, even if it is the lowest grade, it is worth it

  • a pinch of black pepper and a couple of drops of olive oil and mix it until it becomes a smooth paste

Mix all this into a paste and eat it slowly. If you can not finish the whole portion or you do not want to waste the remaining curcuma, just add some warm almond milk and drink it slowly.

To be taken three times a day at the beginning when you feel the flu is coming up and than two times a day when you already feel better.

I find it is important to eat the paste and not just make a warm drink out of it because the anti-inflammatory properties of curcuma and honey will work better when they are in a concentrated form, especially if you have a sore throat. It will sooth the pain right away.

Try it and let me know if it works for you.
